"Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski shared her conspiracy theory on Monday related to the "Access Hollywood" tape featuring Donald Trump and Billy Bush.
The MSNBC show's panel talked about the video, which became public shortly before the 2016 presidential election, leading Brzezinski to share her own theory about it.
"On top of it, it just sounds like anything could have happened in that bus and I wonder what Billy Bush would say if he totally told the story because it sounds like he was sort of, like, you know, something happened in there like he was lunged at in some way by Trump," Brzezinski said.
As she spoke, host Joe Scarborough tried to get Brzezinski to stop talking about her theory as a loud nervous pen tapping could be heard.
"Okay, come on, Mika," Scarborough said.
Scarborough eventually was able to get Brzezinski to change the topic to the scandal surrounding Rep. John Conyers (D., Mich.).
Earlier in the show when the segment was being teased, Scarborough told Brzezinski not to talk about it on the air. Brzezinski had not yet shared her theory, but Scarborough was familiar with it before the show.
Nobody involved in the "Access Hollywood" tape has made any claim about Trump intimidating Bush.
