CNN's Wolf Blitzer offered an odd juxtaposition of Republicans and Iran Wednesday on The Situation Room.
Blitzer, teasing an upcoming segment, said, "We heard the Republican reaction, the Tea Party reaction. Now we're going to get the Iranian reaction to the president's State of the Union speech. We're going live to Tehran for an exclusive report."
While Blitzer did not explicitly equate the responses, try to imagine Democrats getting the same rhetorical treatment, implicitly comparing an American political party to a terror-supporting theocracy.
Perhaps CNN, seeing nothing but bad news about its deplorable ratings, is scraping the bottom of the barrel in an attempt to catch up with far-left MSNBC, which is regularly beating it in the ratings. In fact, its numbers are so bad, re-runs of Shark Tank on CNBC are beating its entire lineup.
