WSJ Reporter: 'Very Difficult' To Find an Iowa Dem County Chair Whose First Choice is Hillary

It is "very difficult" to find Iowa Democrat county chairs who have Hillary Clinton as their first choice, the Wall Street Journal's Peter Nicholas said Monday.

Democrat voters want a competitive race and have begun to support other candidates such as Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

Iowa Democrats said Clinton is too connected to Wall Street to be able to stand up to "big banks."

"My heart wouldn’t be in it for Hillary to the extent that it might be if it was a different candidate," said Jennifer Herrington, chair of the Page County Democrats in southwest Iowa.

"I admire Hillary, she’d be a great president, but you know, she isn’t my first choice I guess."

With Democrat county chairs support in Iowa waning, could this be the end of the Clinton Empire?
