Retired porn star Jenna Jameson castigated musician Bruce Springsteen on Monday after he said during a performance in Melbourne, Australia that he stood in front of the crowd as an "embarrassed American" because of President Trump's actions.
Springsteen opened his concert in Australia by telling fans, "We stand before you embarrassed Americans," after reports came out that Trump criticized Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in a contentious phone call.
"We stand before you embarrassed Americans tonight. This is a song from 1965 by The Orlons. We're gonna use this to send a letter back home" pic.twitter.com/dRptUmu6Ht

Jameson did not take kindly to Springsteen speaking poorly of the U.S. in front of a foreign audience and expressed her views on Twitter, calling the musician a "knob" and an "idiot." She also put in an emoji of a middle finger to finish off the tweet.
"WE are not embarrassed to be Americans, WE are embarrassed you're showing your ass," she wrote on Monday.
Listen you knob, WE are not embarrassed to be Americans, WE are embarrassed you're showing your ass. Put a sock in it you treasonous idiot🖕🏻 https://t.co/pY1sBV4GaJ

Many people replied to the tweet with their opinions on the matter. Some used the opportunity to take shots at former President Barack Obama:
@jennajameson Seems he's picked up where Obama left off. Traveling the world bitching about America. Quite pathetic.

Others pointed out Australia's strict immigration laws:
@jennajameson He said this in Australia (my home) which has xtremely strict immigration laws and deports 99% no ?'s asked.

Some decided to give up on Springsteen's music:
@jennajameson I was a Springsteen fan almost all my life but no more. He crossed my red line.

So far, it does not appear that Springsteen has responded to Jameson's tweet.
Springsteen was an outspoken supporter of Hillary Clinton during the presidential campaign and performed at a Clinton event the day before the election.
