Lone Survivor Marcus Luttrell talked to the Washington Free Beacon Thursday on why he is supporting Texas Gov. Rick Perry for president.
"That's my family," Luttrell said. "I have been part of the Perry family and have been for a long time, and you back up your family's play."
During the introduction of Gov. Perry, his wife Anita Perry said that Luttrell taught the Perry family to "never give up."
Lutrell lived with the Perry family after his service to his country.
Perry said during his announcement that Luttrell was like his "second son."
