Hensarling: I Couldn't Agree With Boehner More

'I won't repeat the language'

Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R., Tex.) joked that while he agreed with Speaker of the House John Boehner's strong remarks Tuesday about the U.S. Senate's inability to act on the sequester, he wouldn't use the language.

Boehner, after remarking the House had passed two bills already to avoid budget cuts, said, "We should not have to move a third bill before the Senate gets off their ass and begins to do something."

That was to the point, Hensarling said on Fox Business.

"I couldn't agree with the Speaker more," he said. "I hope my mother's not watching so I won't repeat the language, but the bottom line is we have a United States Senate that hasn't even bothered to pass a budget in four years, dominated by the Democrats."
