Big Money Gets to Holder

Attorney General Praises Koch Brothers

November 18, 2014

Attorney General Eric Holder heaped praise on the billionaire Koch Brothers during an interview with the Marshall Project on Thursday, going as far as to say the brothers should be applauded, The Hill reported.

"There’s a justice gap," Holder said in an interview with the Marshall Project, which covers criminal justice news. "And to hear that the Koch brothers would be contributing money in that way is something that I think should be applauded."

President Obama's longtime Attorney General expressed his pleasure at the Koch Brothers' political contributions in this case.

"That’s a good thing to hear," he said, "people from very different places along the ideological spectrum understanding that we have to make our criminal justice system more fair."
