MSNBC hosts Andrea Mitchell and Tamron Hall will participate in Obama administration events this week, moderating Google+ hangouts with administration officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry.
Entitled "The U.S. in the World: What’s in it for us?" the Kerry will be held Friday, the State Department announced Monday. Mitchell, who is also NBC's chief foreign affairs correspondent, will moderate the event.
Hall will host a Google+ hangout Monday with Department of Education officials on "A Legacy of Excellence: Celebrating African American Teachers in our Classrooms."
Since the election, MSNBC personalities have been spotted at least one White House meeting. Hosts Rachel Maddow and Al Sharpton, as "influential progressives," attended a White House meeting in December with President Obama.
