Former senator and secretary of the Navy Jim Webb answered what he believes are the greatest threats facing America at the first Democratic debate Tuesday.
"Our greatest long-term strategic challenge is our relation with China," Webb said. "Our greatest day to day threat is cyber warfare against this country. Our greatest military operational threat is resolving these situations in the Middle East."
Lincoln Chafee said chaos in the Middle East is the biggest threat. Martin O'Malley expressed worry about Iran, the Islamic State, and global warming. Hillary Clinton said she believed nuclear weapons getting into the wrong hands is the scariest proposition for Americans, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) also responded that global warming was the great threat the United States faces.
