Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) cleared it up for the record Wednesday that he is neither a "kook" or a "lunatic," to the satisfaction of MSNBC host Martin Bashir, before a discussion of the federal budget.
Ellison, a co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, memorably melted down last month during an appearance on "Hannity."
