The U.S.-led coalition fighting the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria released a video taunting the terrorist group following an airstrike.
The Daily Mail obtained the video of the coalition airstrike, which targeted the jihadists near the town of Qayyarah in northern Iraq.
As an ISIS vehicle speeds straight down a road, a small projectile can be seen heading toward it. When the strike hits the target, the vehicle explodes, throwing pieces of the car all over the road as the main remnant crashes off the side. As the explositon takes place, the bottom of the video briefly reads, "You can run, but you can’t hide."
Black smoke emanates from the scene as the video zooms out to show more of the scene.
The coalition even managed to reference the movie Back to the Future when they posted the video, the Daily Mail noted.
The Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve posted the film alongside the words ‘When Daesh can’t quite get up to 88 mph’–an apparent reference to the movie Back to the Future, in which a DeLorean driving at that speed is capable of traveling through time.
