The Ukrainian government has issued an ultimatum to pro-Russian protestors who have taken over several government buildings in east Ukraine. According to CBS the protestors have 48 hours to either resolve their dispute through negations or they will be met with force.
In the city of Luhansk pro-Russian demonstrators have beefed up barricades in front of the government services building. The protestors have been stockpiling weapons and threaten that any attempt to disrupt their sit in will be met with force.
Yesterday during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee Secretary of State John Kerry accused the Russian government of provoking the situation.
During that same Committee hearing Secretary John Kerry and Sen. John McCain (R., Arizona) clashed over the Obama administrations handling of American foreign policy.
