In an in interview on CNN Sunday morning, Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W. Va.) said he didn't think a stand alone assault weapons ban could pass through Congress unless it was part of a comprehensive approach.
Sen. Joe Manchin: "Assault weapons stand alone ban on just guns alone will not in the political reality that we have today will not go anywhere. It has to be comprehensive , Candy, and that's what I tried to tell the vice president and I've told everybody, it has to be a comprehensive approach."
