Chinese billionaire Wang Jianlin is in talks to purchase Dick Clark Productions for a price of around $1 billion, according to press reports.
Jianlin, China’s richest man, is looking to purchase the famous radio and television host’s production company via his own outfit, Dalian Wanda Group Co., which owns AMC theaters.
The two companies are in exclusive talks over the deal, according to the Wall Street Journal.
