A Texas couple would be facing huge deductible increases should they choose to purchase Obamacare, KTBS-LA reports.
Robert and Dalette Schmidt, facing a surgery and rising costs from their private insurance, turned to Obamacare only to encounter much higher out-of-pocket costs. The Schmidt’s would have a lower premium, but their deductible skyrockets to $12,700.
"This is insane," Robert said. "The deductible has gone crazy."
Disappointed with Obamacare, the Schmidt’s have decided to stick with their private insurance plan.
