Occupy Protester Arrested for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender

ANCHOR: An Occupy Louisville protester has been arrested and charged for failing to register as a sex offender. Donald Baum was arrested at 4:30 yesterday afternoon and charged with failure to comply with the Kentucky sex offender registry. Baum was also arrested Sunday, during a protest at Chase Bank in the Highlands, where he was charged with 3rd degree assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, and 2nd degree disorderly conduct. He was released the same day. Baum entered a plea of not guilty to charges that he failed to register and remains in custody. He’s due back in court on Mar. 8 on the assault charges, and Mar. 12 for failure to register as a sex offender.
