Ellison Barber and Cavuto Discuss EPA Spending Abuse

The Washington Free Beacon’s Ellison Barber joined Fox News’ Cavuto Thursday to discuss recent reports of spending abuse by the Environmental Protection Agency.

The EPA’s inspector general found that agency employees had improperly charged over $79,000 to EPA purchase cards, the government version of a company credit card.

"Why this report is troubling is they’re saying senior officials weren’t going back and periodically checking over these reports to make sure the card were being used appropriately," Barber said. "That’s why they’re saying there’s abuse: officials were not keeping track. It’s an issue with oversight."
