Goldfish may be offended if you wear a goldfish costume, Good Morning America warned on Friday after reporting on Tufts University threatening students to not wear "offensive costumes."
"So at Tufts, the Greek community has sent out an email to the chapters that says 'if you wear something insensitive or offensive you are subject to disciplinary measures,'" ABC's Paula Faris said.
Good Morning America then showed some offensive costumes, such as one of Kim Kardashian from when she was robbed in Paris, creepy clowns, the "Sexy Ebola Costume," and the "Sexy Deluxe Goldfish Costume."
Faris and co-host Michael Strahan joked about offending goldfish.
"But Michael, if you were thinking about going there, don't, because goldfish will be offended," Faris said.
"Goldfish have feelings, too," Strahan said.
Faris then talked about the opposition to this crackdown on potentially offensive costumes and how one organization is taking a stand against the political correctness movement.
"We're seeing pushback around the country but particularly on campuses. The YAF, which is the Young America's Foundation, they launched a, 'Funeral for Halloween' campaign pushing back against political correctness, and what they're saying around the country and their chapters, they want to you create a cardboard coffin, put all the Halloween costumes in there, and then hand out obituaries."
Contrary to what the leftists on campus might tell you, it's OK to have fun on Halloween. #RIPhalloween https://t.co/KwxiUZBnMR pic.twitter.com/r435wfE3nb

Strahan and co-host Robin Roberts then gave their opinions on the matter.
"You know, I think sometimes you need to be reminded not to have bad judgement on certain things," Strahan said.
"Just because you can doesn't mean you should," Roberts said.
