Megyn Kelly's morning show is set to debut Sept. 25 on NBC, and the former Fox News primetime host will have a live studio audience for it.
Politico confirmed Tuesday that Kelly's 9 a.m. show will have a live audience, which will differentiate it from other shows that are part of NBC's "Today" lineup. The flagship program is currently co-anchored by Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker.
Kelly has already worked with members of the "Today" show team. In her first appearance, she spoke to the hosts from St. Petersburg, Russia, and failed to acknowledge co-host Hoda Kotb.
Kelly will look to improve on the disappointing ratings of NBC's "Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly" this summer. That show's June 4 premiere finished third for the night, as did her controversial interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
