In an event that spawned more "Danger Zone" jokes than a mid-season episode of Archer, Kenny Loggins found himself on a California beach as a Marine helicopter made an emergency landing. The singer then tweeted and Facebooked his experience. Neither he nor anybody else was injured, KGTV reports.
No one was hurt when the helicopter, a CH53E Super Stallion, landed on Del Mar Shores Beach after a low oil pressure indicator light came on in the cockpit.
The helicopter was later removed from the beach and taken to the Del Mar Fairgrounds, where it was expected to remain overnight for repairs.
Taking a walk... right into the #DangerZone! Marine helicopter had to make an emergency landing at Solana Beach.
