It Was Another Rough Show for MSNBC's Alex Wagner

November 4, 2014

Less than a week after she angrily mouthed "WHAT?!" at the camera during a broadcast, MSNBC's Alex Wagner was still having some on-air issues Tuesday.

First, Wagner teased a segment about New Hampshire Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown, except viewers instead got a clip of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker discussing the minimum wage.

"That, of course, is not anybody from New Hampshire," Wagner said. "That is Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin. We will get the appropriate sound bite for you coming up."

That wasn't all, though. A few seconds later, Wagner introduced an interview she had with Brown about his former residency in Massachusetts.

"When I met with Scott Brown this morning, it seemed like the whole zip code thing was still kind of a thing," she said, waiting for the clip to play.

Nothing happened, with the camera remaining on Wagner's slightly exasperated face. She handled this production error much better, however.

"We don't have that piece of sound either, making this discussion rather challenging," she said, laughing. "My hard work this morning goes unaired on my own show."
