The White House announced Friday a new campaign to flood the internet with the GIFs, Obama quotes, and photos of Bo the Dog that the Internet has thus far lacked.
The effort will be waged through the White House's new Tumblr page, where the executive office posted this helpful blueprint for the new campaign:

"There will be GIFs," the accompanying post notes.
According to the graphic, followers can expect photos, videos, a noun modified by "behind the scenes," infographics, a small amount of news, a small amount of policy, and a more substantive amount of Bo the dog.
There will also be a tiny sliver of wonk.
Tumblr, a blog-type service that features a function allowing users to republish other users' content, has achieved a degree of popularity with media sites and political campaigns, but is still often associated with the preoccupations of zealous teenaged girls.
