Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci launched his new media company, the "Scaramucci Post," on Monday night.

The short lived communications director took questions from reporters at his Midtown Manhattan restaurant, the Hunt and Fish Club, where he outlined his vision for his new media outlet, the Hill reported.

Scaramucci has a varied background; he is a Harvard Law graduate and in addition to his position with the Trump administration, was previously a Goldman Sachs banker, hedge fund founder, and political financier. Yet with his decision to launch a media outlet, "he has found yet another calling," according to the Washington Post.

During Monday night's event, Scaramucci admitted he was still in his the early stages, but knows he wants to publish centrist, informative content, hoping to be "a middle lane" rather than serving the left or the right.

"We have no idea what the Scaramucci Post is and neither do you. But, we launched it today and we launched with great fanfare and so we’ll have to see how the whole thing unfolds," the Mooch told the Hill.

The outlet will not be based on a traditional website, and will instead rely on social media to distribute content focused on reaching millennials.

During a live stream earlier in the day, Scaramucci discussed politics with Sam Riggs Bozoian and Tyler O'Day of Barstool Sports, and threw out various ideas about what the outlet will end up becoming.

"We’re going to turn it into a big enterprise," he said.

"Maybe we’ll be the Barstool Sports of the political discourse," he added.

But one thing was for sure, the aspiring media leader said the outlet will avoid "picking sides" and will "focus on the issues." He said his outlet will have "a lot of opinions,"  but will have editorial integrity and will work to prevent spreading false news. Nevertheless, he says he will "100 percent get things wrong sometimes."

"It’s going to be plain vanilla news that is unfiltered, cold brew news, if you want to say," he said.

Although the Mooch has "no idea what the Scaramucci Post is," he does have a tagline.

"Everything in moderation, including moderation."
