Kellyanne Conway came to Melania Trump's defense on Sunday when Howard Kurtz of Fox's "MediaBuzz" asked her why the first lady chooses to stay out of the spotlight.
"It's none of their business," Conway, the counselor to President Trump, said.
She added that Melania doesn't call a lot of attention to herself, which appears to irritate some people.
Conway later tweeted that Melania is "making best decision for her son" by staying in New York.
@Foxnews#Mediabuzz Respect 4 @FLOTUS making best decision for her son. Brilliant, beautiful inside/out, successful in biz, supportive wife. https://t.co/EvYkW4ErQp

Melania Trump has remained in New York with her son Barron while he finishes the school year, making her the only first lady to live outside of Washington D.C. while her husband is president.
It is unclear whether she and Barron will move into the White House after the school year ends, according to an Us Weekly report.
