Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) has a new ad out featuring his family for his reelection campaign. It becomes apparent quickly why the ad is titled "Diapers."
In the ad, Johnson's wife Jane is talking with their two adult daughters in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Johnson is doing some dirty work in the other room, changing his grandson's diaper.
Jane admits that she did not want her husband to run for another term in the Senate due to the current vicious nature of politics, prompting a brief kitchen conversation on the state of politics and rhetoric.
Daughters Jenna and Carey call current politics "disgusting" and "vicious," a sentiment shared by many.
"Just like dad helps out with the kids, he's exactly the guy we need to clean up the mess in Washington," his daughter Carey says.
Johnson returns to the room and successfully throws the dirty diaper in the trash like a basketball shot.
