WikiLeaks announced on Monday that its founder Julian Assange had his internet access severed by an unnamed "state actor."
The anti-secrecy organization behind the recent email leaks from Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign wrote in a tweet, "We have activated the appropriate contingency plans."
Julian Assange's internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party. We have activated the appropriate contingency plans.

Assange has been living in asylum at the Ecuadorean Embassy in London for more than four years after avoiding bail to avoid extradition to Sweden over sexual assault allegations.
A woman at the embassy told BBC over the phone that should was unable to "disclose any information" regarding the incident.
The Clinton campaign has charged that WikiLeaks is working alongside the Russian government to sway the election in favor of Donald Trump.
Assange vowed earlier this month to publish documents related to Clinton every week leading up to Election Day.
