Far-left NGO Code Pink habitually shouts down public officials to grab fleeting attention for their cause.
While some chuckle at their boorish tactics, Secretary of State John Kerry takes care to salute Code Pink whenever he's interrupted by one of its members.
In January of 2013 at his confirmation hearing last September while testifying about Syria's chemical weapons use and again Wednesday while discussing U.S. strategy to destroy the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), Kerry took care to say he could identify with their feelings when Code Pink members started shrieking.
"The first time I testified before this committee when I was 27 years old, I had feelings very similar to that protestor," he said last year.
Kerry famously testified against the Vietnam War in 1971.
Kerry did go so far this time as to admonish the group for standing against action that would take out ISIL.
