While addressing graduates of Worcester Technical High School in Massachusetts, Obama confessed that he doesn’t remember his high school graduation party.
"I have to say, I do not remember my high school graduation speaker. I have no idea who it was. I’m sure I was thinking about the party after graduation," Obama began his remarks.
He added: "I don’t remember the party either. I’m just telling the truth here."
The president left the reason for his memory loss up to listeners’ imaginations.
Obama’s recent cracks about his "misspent" youth highlight his more laid-back approach to his office these days, as he follows his apparent new motto of YOPO: You’re only president once.
Observing this new attitude, a White House reporter wondered Tuesday whether Obama might have a case of "senioritis."
