Col. Lee Ellis (Ret., U.S. Air Force) who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam said Monday he was concerned with the way the Obama administration negotiated the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five Taliban militants.
"Do you think the U.S. government should have done this?" CBS This Morning host Charlie Rose asked.
"What is the message it sends around the world? I’m certainly happy that Bowe is home but I’m also a little bit concerned because actions send messages around the world. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out. But right now I’m a little bit concerned about it," Ellis replied.
