Another Dem Calls Obama Out on His Lackluster Response to VA Scandal

Tulsi Gabbard: He should have addressed this earlier

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D., Hawaii) joined a chorus of Democrats in condemning President Obama for his slow and lackluster response to the VA scandal Thursday on MSNBC.

Host Chuck Todd asked Gabbard if she thought the president was slow to address the scandal given it has been reported in the media for several weeks.

"I agree with that. I think he should have been out long before," Gabbard said. "Especially with this Phoenix issue. When you look at the allegations that have occurred there, when you look at the people who have died, the people who are waiting, the disservice that has occurred here for our men and women who voluntarily put their lives on the line and they come home and receive this treatment, there's no excuse and it's absolutely unacceptable."
