The campaign for Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis rewrote a critical headline in an e-mail to supporters, according to the Washington Examiner.
"Ann Richards' daughter shrugs off [Democratic Governor's Association's] Wendy Davis snub," the edited headline from the Davis campaign read, according to Time political reporter Zeke Miller.
The original headline? "Planned Parenthood head shrugs of DGA's Wendy Davis snub."
Cecile Richards is the president of Planned Parenthood, but she is also the daughter of former Texas Gov. Ann Richards.
The switch makes sense for a woman who rose to prominence following her filibuster of an abortion bill, but who now won't even list abortion (er, reproductive rights) as an issue on her campaign website.
