The Washington Free Beacon’s Ellison Barber joined the Blaze TV’s "Real News" Wednesday to discuss Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates’ new book, Duty, saying Gates’ account exposes the lack of military experience in the Obama administration, and the problems such a lack creates.
Responding to Gates’ claims that the White House lost faith in a military solution in Afghanistan, Barber noted that such criticism has become common of the administration.
"People make the criticism that if you look at the National Security Council, they don’t have a lot of people working for them with a military background," Barber said, "which I think is a big problem because they don’t see from a military person’s perspective."
