Scarborough Rules Out Running for President in 2016

Leaves the door open for potential 2020 run

Joe Scarborough announced Tuesday morning on NBC’s Today that he will not make a bid for the White House in 2016, citing his family’s objections.

Asked by NBC’s Savannah Guthrie if he intends to run for President, Scarborough replied "No, absolutely not. I’ve got a ten year old daughter, she said she has to get out of high school before I do anything."

However, Scarborough did not rule out the potential of future run for the White House.
