Former Louisana Democratic governor and convicted felon Edwin Edwards shed some light on how he gets along with his much younger Republican wife Monday on CNN.

Trina Edwards told host Piers Morgan she and her husband are fairly moderate in their views and agree on "everything."

Edwards then revealed after years of political acrimony he has also discovered a newfound "use" for Republicans at this latter stage of his life:

PIERS MORGAN: You are a bipartisan relationship?

TRINA EDWARDS: We are.

EDWIN EDWARDS: I finally found a good use for Republicans. You sleep with them.
