President Donald Trump tweeted Monday night that National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow had suffered a heart attack and was taken to Walter Reed Medical Center.
"Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack. He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center," Trump tweeted.

Washington Post reporter Robert Costa received a statement from Kudlow's wife, Judy Kudlow.
"He's doing fine. Doctors here are fabulous," Judy Kudlow said.

Trump's tweet came minutes before he was expected to meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un to discuss a possible deal for the country to denuclearize.
