WFB's Ellison Barber: Bradley Manning's Disclosure of Docs to Wikileaks Was Not an Act of 'Journalism'

The Washington Free Beacon's Ellison Barber compared and contrasted the actions of Pentagon Papers leaker Daniel Ellsberg and Pfc. Bradley Manning Tuesday on TheBlaze TV.

Barber said she did not see a parallel in their respective actions given Ellsberg was for more judicious with both the information he disclosed and the media outlet he leaked the info to, whereas Manning essentially downloaded over 700,000 documents and gave them to Wikileaks.

Wikileaks, Barber noted, also is not a traditional journalistic entity and acts more as a repository of information, distinguishing it from a traditional media organization.
