Ramsey Discusses Rescue of Cleveland Woman

'You've got to have some cajones, bro'

Charles Ramsey, the dishwasher who freed a kidnapped Amanda Berry and her child in Cleveland, spoke to CNN's Anderson Cooper about his experience Tuesday.

Perry and two other women, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, were kidnapped and held for years as prisoners inside a Cleveland house before being found Monday.

Cooper asked Ramsey if he felt like a hero, but he demurred.

"No, he said. "No, no, no. Bro, i'm a Christian, an American, and just like you. We bleed the same blood, put our pants on the same way. It's just that you got to put that being a coward, I don't want to get in nobody's business, you got to put that away for a minute ... You've got to have some cajones, bro. That's all it's about. It's about cajones on this planet."
