Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, the son-in-law of Sarah Palin, condemned Donald Trump’s recent attacks on the family of a Muslim American soldier who died in combat.
Meyer demanded Tuesday that the Republican presidential nominee apologize to Khizr and Ghazala Khan, who Trump has attacked since last week after Khizr, the slain Army captain’s father, criticized Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric at the Democratic National Convention.
If @realDonaldTrump wants to be the Commander in Chief, he needs to act like one. And that cant start until he apologizes to the Khans.

President Obama awarded Meyer the Medal of Honor in 2011 after the former Marine Corps corporal risked his life to save 36 American and Afghan troops during a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan.
Meyer married Palin’s daughter Bristol in June.
Veterans and lawmakers have denounced Trump’s barrage of attacks on the Khan parents. Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.), a Vietnam war hero, reprimanded Trump Monday for "disparaging" a fallen soldier’s family.
Both Palin and McCain have endorsed Trump’s bid for the White House.
