Maine Dem Promotes Video Calling for Susan Collins to Perform Multiple Sex Acts

September 19, 2014

A video promoted by Maine Democratic gubernatorial candidate Michael Michaud features the rap song "King of Maine," which calls for Maine's prominent Republican Sen. Susan Collins to give everyone "brain," a term known to mean oral sex.

The song is by Maine rapper Spose, and the controversial rhyme directly targets Maine's senior senator in a quite inappropriate way, according to the Maine Wire.

"I’m the King of Maine, I’ve got Susan Collins giving everyone brain," raps Spose, who often refers to himself as the King of Maine.

The lewd comment can be heard slightly before the 2:00 minute mark of the video, which is called "On the Road with Mike Michaud."

Although the campaign was not involved in the production of the video, it was tweeted out by Michaud and his campaign director.

The video features the song as it shows Michaud stump around different parts of the state.

But the use of the song does not appear to be a coincidence, as Michaud has actually met with Spose before to discuss a possible endorsement by the "King of Maine."

The Maine Republican Party is calling for Michaud to remove and publicly denounce the campaign video.

"It is absolutely appalling and completely inexcusable that Michael Michaud would make a video with such a vulgar reference to Susan Collins," said Maine Republican Party spokeswoman Deborah Sanderson. "In his quest to win votes from a younger generation, Congressman Michaud has gone way over the line by participating in this depraved insult to Maine's senior senator."

According to a fellow Maine Democrat, Michaud is "not a brain guy."
