Former Bernie Sanders supporter and Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii) is set to meet with President-elect Donald Trump on Monday, CNN reported.

Gabbard is meeting with Trump and his transition team for a possible top job within his administration, sources told CNN. She is being considered for positions at the Defense Department, State Department, and the United Nations.

Gabbard was a vocal supporter of Sanders, a self-declared socialist, when he made his run for the Democratic presidential nomination against Hillary Clinton. Gabbard resigned from her position as vice chairwoman at the Democratic National Committee so that she could campaign for Sanders in the primaries.

Gabbard has served on the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees. She is also a combat veteran who served in Iraq with the Army and is currently in the Hawaii Army National Guard.

Gabbard is the second Democrat who Trump has met with for a possible position in his cabinet. Michelle Rhee, the former chancellor of Washington D.C. public schools, met with Trump last week and is being considered for education secretary.

Trump had said in October that he would not put any Democrats in his cabinet.
