Ellison Barber Appears on Fox to Discuss Bipartisan Spending Deal

The Washington Free Beacon's Ellison Barber was a guest on Happening Now Tuesday to discuss the bipartisan spending deal unveiled Monday night by negotiators from the Senate and House.

"From a Republican standpoint, they're seeing this as we need to get this passed because we want to focus on jobs, a job report we didn't think was good, and the problems with the Affordable Care Act," she said. "They want that to be their focus moving towards the election."

Barber also said Republicans and Democrats alike should be pleased to have an improvement to cost-of-living adjustment cuts made under the Ryan-Murray budget which is, changed to have an exemption for veterans with disability pensions.
