Preview: Ellison Barber Interviews Vice President Cheney and Liz Cheney

Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz Cheney sat down with The Washington Free Beacon's Ellison Barber for an interview. The full interview will be available on Tuesday.

In this preview, Barber asks Cheney if he and other Republicans leaders might support Hillary Clinton for president in 2016 over Sen. Rand Paul (R., Ky.) should Paul win the Republican nomination.

"I certainly would expect to support the nominee of our party," Cheney told her. "I haven't endorsed or opposed anybody at this stage."

"One of the main reasons we formed this group," Cheney said of his organization, The Alliance for a Strong America, "is because we want to have front and center in the debate and the campaign, both in 2014 and 2016, national security."
