ISIL Sympathizers Break Up Anti-ISIL Meeting At Istanbul University

Amateur video released Friday depicts a group of Turkish ISIL sympathizers disrupting and vandalizing property at Istanbul University in Turkey's capital.

After a group of students opened a stand denouncing the brutality of the Islamic State, masked attackers entered the university building armed with nail-studded sticks.

Three assailants were detained following the attack after tearing down a poster reading, "ISIS, get out of the Middle East."

According to the Kurdish-Turkish website BestaNûçe, hundreds of students have staged a counter-protest against the university security team, which was accused of turning a blind eye to the attacks.
