As much as we're going to miss Hunter Biden and his crackhead shenanigans, it will be nice to see some dignity restored to the role of first son. Donald Trump Jr. is a classy dude who loves to party (responsibly). He's a good father, unlike Sleepy Joe, and he played a major role in helping his father win three presidential elections in a row, but that's not why he's being honored as a Washington Free Beacon Man of the Year.
Power is wasted on men who don't know how to wield it properly. Fortunately, Don Jr. isn't one of them. Barely a month after his father was reelected, the world of men was rocked by two separate but related announcements. First, President-elect Trump tapped Junior's girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, to be the next U.S. ambassador to Greece. Except she wasn't his girlfriend anymore. Second, we learned that Donny J had recently taken a new lover named Bettina Anderson, a banking heiress who is not only attractive but also has never been married to Gavin Newsom.
Most men would love nothing more than to ship their exes across the pond after upgrading to a newer, superior model. Don Jr. actually did it. Because he could. Because the Trump family looks out for one another, but not in the sleazy "here's the blanket pardon I swore I wouldn't give" kind of way. This is how things are supposed to be done in Washington. Father and son, firing on all cylinders, using the powers of the office to solve their girl problems so they can focus their attention on saving the country from crooked libs.
We are so back, baby.
