Paramedics treated Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor for low blood sugar at her home on Friday morning.
Emergency medical services were called to Sotomayor's home near the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C., Politico reported.
According to a Supreme Court spokesman, Sotomayor was treated by emergency medical services, did not require hospitalization, and was able to continue with her scheduled workday.
"She experienced symptoms of low blood sugar at her home this morning. She was treated by emergency medical services and is doing fine," the spokesman said. "She's at work and following her usual schedule and will be participating in all planned activities over the weekend."
Sotomayor, 63, suffers from type 1 diabetes and uses insulin regularly to manage her condition, according to Politico.
