Arizona Democrat charged
with four counts
of domestic violence

Arizona state Rep. Daniel Patterson was charged Thursday with four counts of domestic violence. According to the Arizona Daily Star, Patterson has been charged with one count of domestic violence assault; one count of domestic violence disorderly conduct; one count of false imprisonment; and one count of domestic violence harassment.

Arizona Rep. Daniel Patterson, he’s a Tucson Democrat, pleading non-guilty to the charges. He will not be prosecuted, though, until the legislature adjourns. Patterson’s arrest means he could face possible House ethics violations. Meanwhile, his accuser was booked into jail earlier this week, on two felony drug counts.
