Ekaterina Juskowski and her friend were shooting a video in the middle of Miami Beach when it was interrupted by illegal immigrants running onto the shore earlier this month.
As Juskowski was filming an unnamed model, she noticed a boat in the background ruining her shot. She turned her camera off, thinking it was just a scuba boat, but she was in for a surprise. Nine men popped out of the unanchored boat and came ashore.
"That's a testament to how confident these organizations are — what we call transnational criminal organizations — who smuggle criminals and narcotics right onto the beach," U.S. Border Patrol spokesperson Frank Miller told the New Times Broward-Palm Beach.
