Kentucky Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes refused three times to answer whether she supports President Obama's request for $3.7 billion in emergency funds to deal with unaccompanied minors crossing the border.
Grimes first replied, "I'm going to assess everything when I'm in the United States Senate in the light of 'is it good for Kentucky?"
"Is this good for Kentucky?" a reporter pressed.
Grimes dodged his question, and said she supports an earned pathway to citizenship and securing border.
Asked a final time if she would vote in favor of Obama's request for funds, Grimes once again deflected, saying she supported the Senate's immigration reform bill and that she would "continue to monitor the legislation that is before Congress and hope Mitch McConnell won't stand in the way of reform."
