Despite its title as America’s Finest City, San Diego, Ca. has a well-documented and sordid history of institutional corruption. Whether it's city employees treating the city pension fund as their personal ATM (and nearly bankrupted the city in 2002) or the mayor getting caught using City Hall as a frat house, San Diego's beauty belies a seedy underbelly. What a bummer.

In yet another instance of tax waste, SDPD deemed this endeavor warranted a strike team to look at unarmed/unclothed women? Taxpayers could pay the strippers directly if they wanted police to stop-and-frisk Brittany Lynn, Shandi, and Jamie Lynn.
This is the same Cheetahs strip club of San Diego's legendary "Strippergate" scandal that rocked the city back in the 2000s. Three city councilmen, principal among them a rising Dem star, got busted for accepting bribes from the club's former owner, who wanted the councilmen to reform the city's strict "Look, But Don't Touch Policy."
It appears SDPD took that law a bit too far.
