Cheney: Obama Has No Credibility With Allies

Fmr VP: 'No Question' Putin Thinks Obama Is Weak

Former Vice President Dick Cheney criticized President Obama on Sunday saying he has no credibility with European allies following the Syrian crisis last year and will have trouble getting them to agree to sanctions against Russia as a result.

"We have created an image around the world, not just for the Russians of weakness, of indecisiveness," Cheney said on Face the Nation.

"The request for the Europeans to cooperate on sanctions is more difficult than it would have been because of what happened with respect to Syria. That in fact they got ready to go and at the last minute the U.S. President Obama backed off. So he’s got a much higher mountain to climb in order to try to mobilize Europeans governments to come on board for something other than military action," Cheney argued.
